Philadelphia Scientific (Montgomeryville, PA) has expanded its line of battery water monitors to include the Blinky, Smart Blinky, and Smart Blinky Remote, which are all designed to meet the battery maintenance needs and budgets of any warehouse or distribution center, according to the company. The family of monitors includes:
- The basic Blinky model, which features a steadily blinking green LED light when electrolyte levels are okay. The light goes out when the level is too low.
- The Smart Blinky, which has a green/red indication. It is ideal for locations where the top of the battery can be seen.
- The Smart Blinky Remote, which features an indicator body that can be mounted on the outer edge of the battery for improved visibility. The LED light blinks green when electrolyte levels are okay and red when water is needed.
