The BFDâs sequential blanking algorithm allows it to distinguish between a door closing and an object or person in the door, according to the company. A closing door will not trigger alarms, but a person or forklift will immediately create an alarm to stop or reverse the door. With an ambient light immunity of more than 100 kLux and an available IP65 housing, it is suitable for both interior and exterior doors.
