When the labeled equipment reaches a certain temperature, the white area of the label will turn irreversibly black, which provides clear evidence of the highest temperature attained for that piece of equipment. The labels are ideal for equipment that moves or rotates, such as electric motors, transformers, pumps, and boilers. In addition, the labels have a low profile, meaning they can be applied on components and surfaces where typical electronic temperature recording instruments cannot reach. The strong adhesive can stand up to harsh environments, and is able to stick to dirty or uneven surfaces.
