Floyd Bell Inc. (Columbus, OH) has introduced a new press-in alarm to expand their Turbo Series of piezoelectric audibles. The new Turbo Series alarms featuring PushLok Technology not only make installation a simple one-step process, but also offer a NEMA 4-X water-tight seal. This addresses a common problem with many snap-fit panel-mount products.
The new, first-of-its-kind patented design consists of an alarm component and rubber flanged bushing. When placed over the end of the alarm component and pressed into a 1.2” panel hole, the unique design of the expanding bushing “locks” the alarm into place, making a tamper-proof and water-tight seal.
Turbo Alarms with PushLok Technology boast an impressive sound pressure level up to 103 dB and are available in more than 200 configurations offering multiple tone-types, voltages and terminations.
