According to the New York Post, the makers of Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl Margarita are being sued for $10 million for deceptive marketing. The beverage was labeled “all natural” with “no preservatives,” despite the fact that it contained the synthetic preservative sodium benzoate. Frankel reportedly said that the margarita only had two ingredients: agave nectar and tequila. Skinnygirl was recently removed from Whole Foods after the company discovered it contained the preservative.
