The Magnalight.com website from Larson Electronics (Kemp, TX) has added to its range of explosion-proof and general area LED lighting with a series smaller than a quarter. The LEDSM30 and LEDSM30MW draw only 30mA and operate on 12 volts DC, and are waterproof, dustproof, and US Coast Guard-certified ignition proof. The LEDSM30 is shaped like an eyeball and provides a 5-foot diameter of white light. The LEDs can be integrated into automation equipment, robotic inspection lines, ort instrument panels.
