Watch Intel’s Stunning Drone Swarm Break Guinness World Record

Intel has recently broken the Guinness World Record for “most Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) airborne simultaneously.”

Intel has recently broken the Guinness World Record for “most Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) airborne simultaneously,” an honor previously held by a team of researchers from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

In its stunning artistic feat, named “Drone 100,” Intel programmed 100 drones (using its software, of course) to perform a light show to Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.  

The incredible display took place at Flugplatz Ahrenlohe, Tornesch, Germany last November, but the footage was unveiled for the first time during Intel CEO Brian Krzani’s keynote at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
