Terra Universal Introduces RV 10 Series Rotary Evaporators by IKA®
Fullerton, CA – Now available on Laboratory-Equipment.com are IKA RV 10 Series Rotary Evaporators for use in chemical labs. Distillation of samples is efficient by using rotating flasks that increase surface area of samples. Three models are available, from basic distillation processes to automated control of speed, temperature and vacuum pressure. Automated models include boil-point detection.
Compact units are ergo-dynamic, and include a three-liter water/oil heater with Woulff bottle to protect the vacuum pump from solvent condensation. Flasks are lowered into the baths, and an emergency motorized lift-off function protects the sample from staying immersed in case of a power-outage.
In the RV 10 Digital and RV 10 Control models, digital displays show speed and other status updates for the distillation cycles. Flasks can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise for greatest efficiency. Speed ranges from 20 to 280 rpm, and flask angle can be adjusted from 0 to 45
