Uploaded recently, this video has been making the rounds online for good reason. According to the maker of this video, Periodic Videos, 7 Up's original recipe contained Lithium, so they wanted to know what would happen if you dropped lithium metal into modern 7 Up. The results were surprising.

Another Preiodic Videos creation shows what happens when you drop an aluminium Coke can into hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. It isn't pretty.
