Parker has expanded the line of Viking Xtreme Valve Series (solenoid and remote pilot valves) with a 3-way, 2-position valve to provide a wider range of applications from general industrial to hazardous environments. These valves come in two different versions — the Normal Version and the Xtreme Version. The Normal Version is available with hazardous duty, intrinsically safe or ATEX-approved solenoids. The Normal Version targets applications ranging from general industrial to mobile where a valve is needed that can withstand harsh environments at standard temperatures and pressure. The Xtreme Version was specifically designed for harsh applications in transportation, lumber, oil and gas industries and mining. It features stainless steel armatures and a remote air-piloted valve and works in temperatures ranging -40 degrees F to 140 degrees F (-40 degrees C to 70 degrees C) and pressures ranging from vacuum to 232 PSIG and have passed 5 g shock in vibration tests and 500 hour salt spray tests.
