Parker Hannifin Corporation has introduced a new low-cost inline solenoid valve, the Viking Lite Valve Series. The valves feature a Wear 
Compensating System, which comprises a spool seal that under pressure expands radially, thus maintaining sealing contact with the valve bore and extending cycle life and reliability. The system requires no lubrication and provides low pilot pressures for fast response and less wear. The series is designed to operate with standard pressures of up to 145 PSIG and standard temperatures ranges of 14 degrees F to 122 degrees F (-10 degrees C to 50 degrees C), making them suitable for applications including general industrial and food processing. They come in 3-way and 4-way 2-position single and double solenoid and 4-way 3-position double solenoid functions, 1/8, 1/4 or 3/8 port sizes with a standard 22-pin 3-Pin DIN solenoid connector. The valves can mount individually or collectively on an IEM bar manifold.
