Exact, the business software partner for small business manufacturers and wholesale distributors, officially launched new software that helps small manufacturers and wholesale distributors in the U.S. operate more efficiently and profitably. BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Exact, the business software partner for small business manufacturers and wholesale distributors, officially launched new software that helps small manufacturers and wholesale distributors in the U.S. operate more efficiently and profitably. The affordable software, available through a monthly online subscription, streamlines tasks such as production and inventory management, logistics and CRM. It is scheduled to be available for download through Exact Online and the Intuit App Center on December 2.

Exact is showcasing the new solution at FABTECH 2013, being held in Chicago November 18-21.

“Made in America means something once again, and we want to help manufacturers and wholesale distributors capitalize on this opportunity,” said Steve Leavitt, GM of U.S. Cloud Solutions at Exact. “To do this, these businesses need affordable, easy to implement technology that provides an immediate and obvious payoff. Our software leverages the cloud to provide small businesses with enterprise-like functionality that is in line with their cost expectations and requirements.”

The newly available Exact Online software integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, bridging the gap between common manufacturing and wholesale distribution tasks and traditional accounting functions. The software replaces disparate systems and manual processes, giving business owners a 360-degree view of their businesses while enabling accountants to become even more trusted advisors to their clients.

“Exact Online is addressing a major gap in the marketplace,” said Laurie McCabe, SMB Group. “The company is committed to serving small manufacturers and wholesale distributors, many of whom are still trying to patch together systems that give them little to no visibility into operations and profitability. Now there’s a solution that’s built just for them that will integrate automatically with QuickBooks, and give them the efficiency and visibility they need.”

For the past few months, manufacturers and wholesale distributors have been using the Exact Online solution as part of a controlled release. According to one controlled release user, Chad Dillaman, owner, Dillaman Mold & Manufacturing, “We were immediately impressed with how easily we were able to consolidate and manage operations under one system. It’s so easy to use yet it provides such valuable insights into how we run our business that it more than pays for itself.”

Exact Online is a product of Exact, a global company with 30 years of experience in manufacturing and wholesale software, serving more than 100,000 customers worldwide and 10,000 in the U.S. Small business manufacturers and wholesale distributors can access the Exact Online software subscription-free through the end of 2013.
