1,800 Cases of Soup Recalled for Mislabeling

StockPot is voluntarily recalling approximately 1,800 cases of 24-ounce, refrigerated plastic tubs of Wholesome@Home Classic Chicken Noodle Soup. Some of the plastic tubs may carry the side labeling of Wholesome@Home Loaded Baked Potato Style Soup.

EVERETT, Wash. (Campbell Soup Company) โ€” StockPot is voluntarily recalling approximately 1,800 cases of 24 oz., refrigerated plastic tubs of Wholesome@Home Classic Chicken Noodle Soup produced for sale in the Kroger family of stores. Some of the plastic tubs may carry the side labeling of Wholesome@Home Loaded Baked Potato Style Soup. As a result of the mislabeling, the product does not declare the presence of wheat, which is a known allergen.

The affected product was manufactured on October 25, 2013, and October 26, 2013, and has the following individual code on the bottom of the Wholesome@Home Loaded Baked Potato Style Soup label: UPC 4157354123.

The product subject to the recall was made at the StockPot facility in Everett, Washington and shipped to distribution centers in the following seven states that serve the Kroger family of stores: Indiana, California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Texas and Utah.

In an abundance of caution, StockPot is retrieving the approximately 1,800 cases of Wholesome@Home Classic Chicken Noodle Soup labeled as Wholesome@Home Loaded Baked Potato Style Soup from the market. This recall does not affect any other Kroger or StockPot products.

There have been no consumer illnesses reported in connection with this product. Consumers who have a wheat sensitivity and who have purchased the product should not eat it. Consumers should return the product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.  Consumers can also call StockPot at 1-866-495-3774 for more information.
