Life Cycle Engineering, Inc. (LCE) has recently announced that it will offer three workshops on the International Standard for Asset Management (ISO 55000). These workshops will be offered through LCE’s training entity, the Life Cycle Institute, and aim to educate on how to align business objectives with a risk-based asset management strategy.

These workshops will be offered through LCE’s training entity, the Life Cycle Institute, and aim to educate on how to align business objectives with a risk-based asset management strategy, plus an implementation plan to help maximize value.

The ISO 55000 for Leaders: Developing the Asset Management Policy workshop is a privately-held session customized for individual organization to teach the most important attributes of the ISO 55000 standard. Leaders will create an asset management policy, guiding principles, decision-making criteria, reporting, continuous improvement requirements and plan for communication.

The ISO 55000 for Managers: Developing the Strategic Asset Management Plan workshop is designed to be delivered in conjunction with the ISO 5500 for Leaders workshop, and is ideal for operations and maintenance managers. Participants will create the strategic asset management plan (SAMP) and outline the implementation plan.

Finally, the ISO 55000: Creating an ISO 55000 Implementation Plan focuses on methods for leading the ISO 55000 planning and implementation. These participants will design and develop a strategic asset management plan.
