Air Scrubber Technology

The System REITHER™ air scrubber is sized for 165,000 acfm to control fine dust and odorous sulfur-based gases from three corn fiber dryers and one corn fiber cooler from wet mill corn processing.

Company is exporting a patented System REITHER™ venturi air scrubber technology to control emissions from corn fibre dryers at Ingredion Brazil’s plant in Mogi Guacu, Brazil. This is the second largest Ingredion Inc. corn processing plant of over 40 world-wide. There are six Ingredion Brazil, corn processing plants in Brazil. The System REITHER™ air scrubber is sized for 165,000 acfm to control fine dust and odorous sulphur based gases from three corn fibre dryers and one corn fibre cooler from wet mill corn processing. This is in meeting stricter air emission regulations in Brazil, for the control of PM10, PM2.5, SO2, H2S and other toxic compounds from industrial sources. Emerging countries such as Brazil are looking to developed countries such as Canada for advanced Clean Tech Technologies to control air emission of hazardous compounds from industrial applications. The use of this advanced technology gives industry an added advantage in controlling air emissions to meet stricter regulations of hazardous emissions, which affect public health and related environment issues. This gives industry another tool in developing a sustainable environmentally friendly operations.
