Yaksawa America, Inc. (Waukegan, Ill.) has announced the release of the Z1000 family of HVAC drives, which utilize the Z1000 Bypass Package designed specifically for commercial HVAC applications. The Z1000 has an easy-to-read LCD operator and an internal real-time clock and timer controls for speed variations without the need for external controls. Other features include:

  • An on-board EMI/RFI filter compliant with IEC 61800-3 to minimize interference of surrounding equipment.
  • Embedded BACnet communications, along with Modbus/Memobus.
  • NEMA 1 models from 3 to 150 HP and 3 to 500 HP, with a sealed heatsink that allows the drives to be mounted in a NEMA 12 enclosure.
