The survey asked global supply chain executives that serve as private label retailers, manufacturers and suppliers to report on their company's correlation between transparency, productivity and consumer spending.

Some key findings included:

  • More than half of the respondents attribute transparency to improved customer sales and loyalty.
  • 83 Percent say transparency impacts consumer confidence and buying behavior.
  • 81 percent said their organizations are more productive due to their ability to collaborate.
  • The top three PLM development challenges listed included: a lack of communication, multiple technologies, tools and software, and speed to market.
