Campbell's Announces Collaboration with Pabst Blue Ribbon

The companies launched two new varieties of Chunky soup.

Campbell's on Monday announced the launch of two new varieties of its Chunky brand soup in partnership with Pabst Blue Ribbon.

The companies’ new soups — “Beer Cheese with Potatoes & Chorizo” and “Beef, Bacon & Beer Chili with Beans” — will be available exclusively at Walmart.

The companies plan to mark the launch with a “food truck sampling tour” at Walmart stores this fall, as well as a “dive bar takeover” at Ray's Bar in Lower Manhattan on Thursday.

“Pairing Chunky's hearty recipes with the iconic, malty flavor of PBR brings something totally unique to the soup aisle,” Campbell's Chunky Senior Brand Manager Ryan Pawling said in a statement.

“We always like to do things a little differently at Pabst, so when the opportunity came to work with an iconic brand like Chunky, we knew this was a no brainer," added Rachel Keeton, senior brand director at Pabst.
