Following the recent trend of bringing back old brands, Post Foods, LLC has decided to bring its Strawberry Honeycomb cereal back to the breakfast table.

The cereal was first introduced in 1983 as a limited edition item but quickly became a big hit with cereal lovers nationwide.

In a recent release, Senior Brand Manager Sue Fruzzetti-Reich said, "Honeycomb's one-of-a-kind playful shape has made the cereal an instantly recognizable breakfast classic. We're excited to bring it back to the market — not only will it be a blast from the past for our current Honeycomb fans, but it will help introduce the brand to a whole new generation of cereal lovers."

Fruzzetti-Reich added that the company encourages its fans to push their creative limits by enjoying the old-school Honeycomb cereal, which offers a twist on flavor compared to the original Honeycomb.

The Strawberry Honeycomb combines corn and oat hexagonal shapes coated with strawberry flavoring. It contains 8 grams of whole grain per serving, 10 essential vitamins and minerals and is considered a sufficient source of iron and vitamin D.

The cereal can be found only at select grocery stores across the country. Find out if the cereal is coming your way by checking out this store locator.
