TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — The Tacoma City Council approved a contract Tuesday between the city water utility and the Niagara Bottling company for a $50 million plant the company plans to open next spring in Frederickson.

Niagara hopes to begin bottling Tacoma water in the spring of 2014. The plant will employ 36 people.
