NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (AP) — The Royal Canin USA pet food company is planning a new $100 million plant in North Sioux City. The Missouri-based company already operates in the South Dakota city. A kick-off event for the new manufacturing facility is planned Monday. The company also plans to donate about 10,000 pounds of cat food and dog food to the Siouxland Humane Society and Noah's Hope Animal Rescue. The new plant is expected to begin production in April 2019. It's not known if it will result in any new jobs. |
