It's Friday afternoon and I am watching the clock like a hawk. What a slow, demanding week this has been.
And beyond the usual humdrum of work duties, there always seems to be a couple of things in our personal lives that seem to go wrong all at once.
But don't worry, I surely won't bore you with those details!
It's Friday. The sun is shining (at least here in good ol' Madison, Wis. it is) and the clock is ticking down to your release from responsibility! Yay!
Let's celebrate with some laughs:
- Did you hear about Tony the Tiger's murder?! Police suspect a cereal killer.
- What do you call the time inbetween eating peaches? (Cause let's be honest, nobody can ever eat just one). A pit-stop!
- What do you call a pig thief? A hamburglar.
One day, two potatoes (who were best friends) were walking together down the street. When they stepped off the curb, a speeding car came around the corner and ran one of them over! The uninjured potato called 911 and helped his injured friend as best he was able. The injured potato was taken to the emergency room at the hospital and rushed into surgery. After a long and agonizing wait, the doctor finally appeared. He told the uninjured potato, "I have good news, and I have bad news. The good news is that your friend is going to pull through! The bad news...is that he is going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life."
