RAVENSWOOD, W.Va. (AP) — A rally and food drive are being organized to benefit striking workers at Constellium's aluminum rolling plant in Ravenswood, W.Va.

More than 700 United Steelworkers members went on strike Aug. 5 after contract talks broke down.

The West Virginia AFL-CIO says a caravan and rally were scheduled for Wednesday night at the Steelworkers' local union hall in Ravenswood.

Donations of nonperishable food items are being collected at the union hall.
