ARDEN, N.C. (AP) — A company that makes heating coil elements says it will expand its plant in Arden, adding 90 jobs.
The Winston-Salem Journal reported (https://bit.ly/146REbw) Tutco Inc. said Monday it will spend more than $500,000 to expand its plant.
Tutco is one of the world's largest suppliers of open coil heating elements.
The company's heating components are used in commercial applications, including refrigeration, appliances, lab equipment and vending.
The company is eligible for up to $98,000 in performance-based incentives from the One North Carolina Fund. It also qualifies for matching local incentives.
