Most people use salt to enhance the flavor of their food, but a Singapore scientist has discovered that it's also extremely good for improving the memory capacity of computer hard disks. Joel Yang of Singapore's Institute of Material Research and Engineering has found that salt is so effective, it could increase storage capacity by six times.
