Degree Controls, Inc. (Milford, NH) has developed the AccuSense F333 air velocity sensor for embedded applications. The sensor is manufactured with a RoHS-compliant, rugged construction, and is aimed at ducting applications, fume hoods, and more. The F333 provides air velocity measurements within the range of 0.2 m/s to 10 m/s while maintaining better than ±10 percent accuracy across a temperature range of 15°C to 60°C. With a linear voltage output of 0-5V or 0-10V, the user can easily integrate the sensor into a control system, instrument panel, or interface to other equipment management devices.
