(Minnetonka, MN) are 2-wire, loop-powered, analog-output shaft speed sensors. They detect passing magnets of a shaft-mounted pulsar disc or wrap and output a smooth, continuous 4-20 mA analog signal in direct proportion to shaft rotation speed. The ST420 is Intrinsically Safe for Class I and II hazardous locations. The ST420-LT and ST420-DI have integral conduit attachments, are NEMA 4X, IP65, and Dust Ignition-proof for Class II hazardous locations. According to the company, all models have rugged stainless-steel M18x1 housings for harsh environments and require no user calibration. Custom measurement ranges are available upon request.
