Omega Engineering (Stamford, Conn.) has released a new series of user-friendly limit controls, the CNi-AL series, which are easy to configure and come with universal inputs and more flexibility in process measurement and limit alarm applications. Ideal industries, according to Omega, include food, automotive, plastics and chemical processing. The company says the CNi-AL can be used, with the programmable limit alarm setpoints, to provide a visual display color change and latching limit alarm output to shut down a process if an alarm condition exists. Additional features include:
- Two relay alarm outputs, plus the ability to program high/low limits.
- A high accuracy.
