Computer firm recently acquired by Xerox plans to expand its Ridgeland operation by adding 50 jobs and up to 200 jobs over the next two years.

RIDGELAND, Miss. (AP) -- A computer firm recently acquired by Xerox Corp. plans to expand its Ridgeland operation by adding 50 jobs and up to 200 jobs over the next two years.

Combined, ACS and Xerox currently employ about 425 people across the state. ACS provides services that help administer government health care programs like Medicaid.

Will Saunders, the company's senior vice president for Government Healthcare Solutions, says the new jobs include programmers, analysts, and developers, as well as health care professionals. He says the firm plans to offer jobs that will allow employees to work from home and others at the Ridgeland office.

ACS was hosting a job fair Tuesday in Madison with another scheduled for March 29.
