ST. LOUIS — Hager Companies, a U.S. manufacturer of commercial and residential door hardware products, recently installed an anodizing line and a new machining center that will allow reduced lead times and better-quality control of the Roton continuous hinge product line at its Montgomery, AL. manufacturing plant.

“At Hager, implementing new technology is always focused on the customer base, knowing what their problems are and how we can fix them,” said Bill Yeomans, Group Vice President of Operations at Hager Companies. “We are actively embracing the reduction in lead times and the need to be faster, and this new installation will not only reduce production times, it ensures the product is made with an even higher quality than before.”

Roton continuous geared hinges and stainless steel continuous hinges are offered by Hager in a variety of lengths and configurations to suit a wide range of applications. In addition to the anodizing line, state-of-the-art automated keying and pinning equipment was installed, further improving production times and quality for keyed lock products.

“The manufacturing industry is always evolving. As a business owner, you have a choice to be part of the change or be one of the companies eliminated by it,” added Yeomans. “Here at Hager Companies, we’re committed to pushing our industry further to set standards for quality and efficiency.”

Using the new installation of its anodizing line and the addition of a new machining center, Hager Companies will provide better customer satisfaction and elevate its already successful industrial plants.
