The new OPTIWAVE 5200 C/F is designed for liquid applications in a measuring range of up 98 feet (30 meters). The cost effective 2-wire loop powered device measures level and volume in storage or process tanks with process conditions up to 250°C/482°F and pressures up to 40 bar/580 pounds per square inch (psi) for general purpose or hazardous locations.

The OPTIWAVE 5200 C/F electronics are compatible with a wide selection of antennas, including the unique PP and PTFE Wave Horn gasket-free antennas, which are ideally suited for extremely corrosive environments. Fully compatible with all installed KROHNE BM 70 flange systems, the new meter can also upgrade any BM 702 radar level meter with enhanced measurement performance and features and is compliant with both SIL and NAMUR guidelines. The OPTIWAVE 5200 C/F also offers 4…20 mA with HART communication and PACTware DTMs at no extra charge.

Also available to view is the OPTIFLEX 2200 C/F level meter, a perfect choice for tank and silo applications in the chemical industry, as well as in the oil and gas, energy, waste water, mining or pulp and paper sectors. Featuring software-based dynamic parasite rejection (DPR) technology that eliminates false reflections caused by environmental disturbances and product build-up, the 2-wire device is the newest addition to KROHNE’s TDR guided radar level meters.
The cost-effective OPTIFLEX 2200 C/F device is ideal for replacing traditional level meters that require higher maintenance, including displacer, RF capacitance, conductive and pressure level meters. Available with a variety of probes to measure liquids up to 130 feet (40 meters) and solids up to 66 feet (20 meters), the OPTIFLEX 2200 C/F can handle process temperatures up to 570°F (300°C) and pressures up to 580 psig (40 bar).
