American Tower Corp., down $3.14 to $102.57

Investors sold real estate investment trusts and other big dividend-paying companies as higher bond yields made those investments less attractive.

Bank of America Corp., up $1.06 to $20.08

Bank stocks led the market higher as bond yields jumped, which points to higher interest rates and bigger lending profits.

Facebook Inc., down $3.94 to $115.08

Technology companies slumped as investors worried that Donald Trump's policies as president will hurt their sales overseas.

Harman International Industries Inc., up $22.07 to $109.72

Samsung agreed to buy Harman, which makes products for connected cars including audio systems and safety and entertainment features.

The aircraft components maker reported mixed quarterly results and investors found its profit forecast disappointing.

Anadarko Petroleum Corp., down 54 cents to $60.50

Energy companies traded lower as the price of oil fell.
