On the CBS MoneyWatch, an alternative for cord cutters and a fast food restaurant offers some big game. Hena Daniels is at the New York Stock Exchange with that and more. Good morning, Hena.

HENA DANIELS: Good morning, Anne-Marie. Third-quarter earning reports continues to sway the stock market. Yesterday, disappointing results dragged stocks down. The Dow Jones lost fifty-three points. The S&P 500 lost eight and the NASDAQ finished twenty-six points lower.

After the markets closed, Apple reported lower quarterly sales. Its first annual revenue decline in fifteen years. Apple stock dropped two percent. Apple sold fewer iPhones and said it miscalculated the demand for its biggest smartphone, the iPhone 7 Plus. Apple says it`s not sure it can make enough units in time for Christmas and that may also hurt holiday sales.

AT&T is launching an internet TV service next month. The streaming TV service DirecTV now will cost thirty-five dollars a month undercutting most cable companies. The one hundred plus channels will include TNT, TBS, Fox, and NBC Universal. Initially, the service will be available through traditional internet connection but, eventually, on 5G Wi-Fi.

If you own a Volkswagen that has emissions cheating software you may be able to sell your car back to the automaker as early as next week. A federal judge approved the company`s fifteen-billion-dollar court settlement to get the cars off the road. It`s the largest auto scandal settlements in U.S. history. Customers who don`t go for the buyback can have their cars repaired.

And the fast food chain Arby`s is rolling out a venison sandwich. Arby`s venison sandwich features a venison steak, crisp onions, and a berry sauce on a toasted roll. The sandwich will be available by the end of the month in select markets where deer hunting is popular. Anne-Marie.

Mike Pence plays hardball with the press to answer a softball question. When asked who he is rooting for in the World Series, Donald Trump`s running mate tossed a baseball to reporters in his campaign plane. The Indiana governor had signed it, "Mike Pence, lifelong Cubs fan." There is your answer.

The e-mails, purportedly, show two of her top aides questioning her instincts and there are suggestions that President Obama knew Clinton was using private e-mail while she was secretary of state. Former Secretary of State Colin Powell said he is voting for Clinton. Donald Trump campaigns in North Carolina today. He said Clinton`s policy concerning Syria could cause World War III.
