NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — The Ada County Coroner's office has identified the worker who died at a Nampa cheese manufacturing plant as 41-year-old Dennis Marsh of Boise.

Marsh was pronounced dead at a local hospital on Thursday after he was crushed between a forklift and a warehouse shelving unit at the Lactalis factory.

Pierre Lorieau, the vice president of Lactalis American Group, wrote in a prepared statement Friday that the company extends its deepest sympathy to Marsh's family and friends. Lorieau wrote that Lactalis has launched a full investigation.

Canyon County spokesman Joe Decker says the incident is being treated as an industrial accident. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is also expected to investigate.
