Hughey & Phillips Brings LEDs To Obstruction Lighting

Hughey & Phillips (H&P; Urbana, Ohio) has announced its new LED-based obstruction lighting to meet customer needs for longer-lasting, more energy-efficient fixtures. The HORIZON line L-810 low-intensity products provide an LED-based solution for FAA L-810 steady burning lights, and can be powered using a solar array for renewable energy applications. The HORIZON products are available in both single and double configurations operating at a range of 95-277VAC, and also in a range of 9-48 VDC. Both are available as new fixtures or as replacements for existing incandescent obstruction lights. According to the company, the LEDs boast a life 15 times longer than traditional incandescent lights and uses 96 percent less power.
