South Korea-based ENF Technology—a leading supplier of electronic materials to Samsung and the U.S. high-tech market—announced that it will build a $45 million headquarters and advanced manufacturing center in the greater San Marcos, Texas region. The 100,000 square-foot complex will be located in the city of Kyle’s 2,200-acre mastered planned community, Plum Creek.
ENF specializes in the production and R&D for electronic materials and fine chemicals which are relied on for the semiconductor manufacturing process. ENF has existing headquarters in Giheung, South Korea, the mecca of semiconductors.
ENF chose greater San Marcos as the location for its new U.S. headquarters for the region’s business-friendly environment and talent pipeline, supported by Texas State University and the Gary Job Corps (the first and largest job corps program in the U.S. and a no-cost education and career technical training program by the U.S. Department of Labor). ENF plans to develop a workforce of 80 workers at the Kyle facility with a median salary of $85,000.
