MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. (AP) — A natural gas company is helping the Marshall County school district launch a new after-school wellness program for elementary students.
Noble Energy, the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce and Youth Services Systems are gathering Friday in Moundsville for the formal launch of "Energizing Our Youth."
Students at Central and McNinch elementary schools will be able to get homework assistance, healthy snacks and lessons about energy, healthy living and substance abuse prevention.
Texas-based Noble says it's investing $300,000 in the program over three years.
