The latest company to try to take to the skies in a flying car is Pal-V, which revealed the newest version of their helicopter-like vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show last week.

Pal-V was founded in 2001. It claims to have the first commercially available flying car, and does appear to have two models for sale. Safety certification for compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Administration is not yet finished and is expected to be completed when the production models roll out later in 2018 or 2019. If they make that work, buyers who hold both a driver's license and a pilot's license may be able to take to the skies.
