SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Fifteen investors of a Sioux Falls food service marketing company have filed a lawsuit demanding the repayment of more than $2.2 million in funds they allege were obtained through fraud.

The Argus Leader reports that the lawsuit was filed against the current and former owners of Fuzion Food Group. The lawsuit alleges the company misrepresented the quality of its work, the capability of its products and the satisfaction of its customers to net six-figure investments.

The company did not return telephone calls or emails from the newspaper seeking comment. No court date has been set. Owners have until Jan. 7 to file a written response.

The lawsuit asks that a jury award individual payments to the 15 investors, whose contributions ranged from about $37,000 to $378,000.
