On Thursday, March 5th, a fire broke out at Red River Commodities in Fargo, North Dakota.
The plant filled will smoke, but all employees made it out safely.
According to local reports, the fire broke out in a large dryer and duct work used to process birdseed.
No one was injured and firefighters quickly quelled the blaze and ventilated the plant.
Red River is an ag processing company with four North American plants that source crops from growers and process them for food manufacturers.
The company’s products make it into multiple industries, everything from baking and cereal, to candy, snacks and wildlife food.
The company also maintains plants in Colby, Kansas; Lubbock, Texas; and Horace, North Dakota.
A company spokesperson confirmed that all Red River facilities are fully operational.
