Late Monday night, a ruptured gas line led to a major explosion and roaring fire near the community of Orion Township, Michigan, located approximate forty miles from Detroit. Consumers Energy responded to the problem, shutting down the line and working with local authorities to contain the blaze. Although the enormous blaze lit up the night, there were no reported injuries.
