Winsupply Inc. announced Thursday that it partnered with its Winsupply Sourcing LLC arm and several of its “local company” subsidiaries to donate personal protective equipment for the winter months.

The leaders of the local companies identified the recipients, which include nursing homes, food banks and homeless shelters. They will receive supplies including masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and no-touch thermometers.

In total, the donations were valued at over $266,000.

The company highlighted a contribution to the Dayton Foodbank, a Dayton Windustrial customer in Winsupply’s hometown that is marking its 50th anniversary this year.

“We value compassion and supporting our community and those in need,” Winsupply Dayton Electrical President Kora Yochum said in a statement. “To be able to give back and spread support, kindness and hope really means something.”

Winsupply ranked at no 3. on ID's latest Big 50 list.
