SAN ANTONIO (AP) — H-E-B has recalled its 4-oz. H-E-B Baby Food two packs as a precaution after a customer reported finding a small piece of rubber inside a container of the product. The San Antonio-based supermarket chain issued the recall Friday. In a statement, H-E-B said no injuries or illnesses have been reported associated with the isolated incident. However, the chain was recalling the entire product line as a precaution. H-E-B said customers should return the product to their stores for full refunds. It also has launched an investigation into the incident and is working with the manufacturer of its baby food to ensure all measures are being taken to ensure product safety. |
