The FDA, meanwhile, announced earlier this week that Cape Cod Provisions LLC is recalling Cape Cod Cranberry Candy™ and Harvest Sweets™ Milk Chocolate/Dark Chocolate/Yogurt Covered Cranberry Blend (mix of all three varieties in the package) because they may contain undeclared yogurt covered almonds. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the recall.

According to the FDA news release:

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that yogurt covered almonds were distributed in packaging that did not list almonds in the ingredients. Subsequent investigation indicates it was an isolated incidence caused by a temporary breakdown in the packaging processes.

The FDA also announced that Milky Way International Trading Corp. has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of Nice! mandarin oranges in 8-ounce glass bottles due to the potential of glass in the product.
