Soylent: Food of the Future?

Soylent is the brainchild of a computer engineer looking for an alternative to food. The substance, though slightly less terrifying than it's classic movie namesake, is not exactly appetizing. The powder can be mixed with water to provide all the basic nutrients necessary to sustain human life, but without any of the fun — or hassle — of eating.
