LEDtronics, Inc. (Torrance, CA) announces the addition of a new series of LED metal panel-mount indicators with screw terminals that fit mounting holes of 1 inch (25.4mm) in diameter.
The PTD25M-0xx-038B series of non-relampable and ultra-bright lamps with 38VDC input voltage come in a choice of LED colors: Aqua Green, Super Red, Super Yellow, Super Blue and Cool White (5000K). With power consumption of only 0.3 watts, they are ideal replacements for outgoing incandescent units in industrial controls and panels, panel-mount retrofit applications, visual factory controls, control lighting, industrial vehicle indicators, transportation/automotive, pilot lights for machines and instruments, as well as many others. Specifically:
- These new lamps feature a nickel-plated brass housing and terminals, a polycarbonate clear and fluted-dome lens, a polycarbonate diffuser, and a Nylon PA6 header.
- They can be front-mounted on panels up to 0.3 inches (7.62mm) thick.
- They operate in a wide temperature range of -30 to +60 degrees Centigrade (-22 to +140 degrees Fahrenheit), and boast an IP66 protection rating — they are watertight and splash-proof for outdoor locations, and produce almost no heat.
Solid-state design makes LEDs impervious to electrical and mechanical shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. These durable lamps provide years of reliable performance with sustained color fidelity, better visibility, uniform lighting, and energy efficiency, compared to incandescent and halogens. They boast LED lumen maintenance of greater than 70 percent and a long lifespan of 50,000 hours.
