Filters Meet Nanotechnology

The HemiPleat Nano dust collector filter from Camfil Farr Air Pollution Control (Jonesboro, AR) offers high filtration efficiencies, a longer service life, and lower pressure drop for energy savings and enhanced performance. A thick layer of nano fibers are applied to the filter to yield a MERV 14 efficiency rating.

According to the company, the HemiPleat Nano media is strong enough to handle difficult dust challenges, such as laser and plasma cutting, welding, and thermal spray. In addition, the open-pleat design allows for better utilization of the media pack, resulting in better airflow through the cartridge for more efficient performance. Dust is also released more readily during pulse cleaning, so the customer uses less compressed air.
