(Newark, DE) developed the SFT-100XW Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) system, which was developed to apply supercritical fluid techniques to various processing challenges. Dual sapphire syringe pump technology accurately pressurizes the SFT-100XW stainless steel vessel, which is capable of containing supercritical fluids and pressures up to 10,000 psi. In addition, the system can accommodate pressure vessels of up to 500mL capacity, or multiple vessels. Other features include:
- An integrated pre-heater that ensures the consistent temperature of the fluid.
- An optional co-solvent pump that enables extraction of moderately polar compounds.
