GOJO Industries (Akron, OH) has launched its new PURELL Green Certified Instant Hand Sanitizer, the world’s first sanitizer to be certified by EcoLogo, according to the company. The PURELL sanitizer is made with 100 percent renewable ethanol in a biodegradable formula that kills 99.99 percent of the most common illness-causing germs.

The PURELL sanitizer is made with 100 percent renewable ethanol in a biodegradable formula that kills 99.99 percent of the most common illness-causing germs. A natural moisturizer helps condition skin without the use of fragrances and dyes. In addition, the PURELL Green uses GOJO SMART FLEX technology, which packages product refills in lightweight, recyclable PET bottles, which helps save more than 250 tons of plastic annually.
