The engineering department at Hamilton Caster & Mfg. Co. (Hamilton, OH) has unveiled the next generation in swivel technology — the HPI. Hamilton Precision Integrated can be found on select series of Hamilton’s heavy-duty forged steel casters with load capacities from 600 to 23,000 pounds per caster. According to the company, the new design outperforms CNC-machined ball raceways, kingpinless, and unit load bearing swivel constructions. These casters can swivel more easily under heavy load, even in 24/7 operations, such as automatic guided vehicles and tow-line carts.
